Anja and us

Our buddy Anja left for Europe last week which sucks the big kumara! She's off to race world cups and see the sights..... again. Before she left we managed to get a few mint good-bye rides in of which you can read about in the latest Spoke magazine due out any day. A few days after she left gabby got her bike stolen in Wgtn while she was down there doing clinics so if you see a blue i Drive 5 '07 around with full SRAM XO and truvativ parts, Pike forks etc please contact her (021 86 54 54) or the Lower Hutt Police.

Since our last update we have been all over the place. We were down in ChCh for a few days which was super great. the weather was warm and dry, and wet everywhere else in the country. For once we lucked in! Amy flew back in from the States with lots of stories and last weekend Dodzy flew to Nelson for a BIKENZ Junior Development Camp which by all accounts went really well.

Dh runs and Triple Crown Race

Well, finally we got a weekend off which coincided with the Vegas Triple Crown XC downhill race. Unfortunately it also coincided with a massive storm and the shuttle didn't run on the Saturday. Gabby was not happy, dry all week and finally shuttles are on and the bus can't run! Anyway, she skipped the race and got some runs in on Sunday with her buddy Nige. Dodzy ripped it up with Tom Holland and Craig Pattle in the Triple Crown and the DH boys took one, two and three in the pedal fest.

They are opening the entries to 90 people for the next Triple Crown on the 12th of August. It's a mint chance for anyone who wants to give DH racing a go but doesn't want to ride super gnarly tracks.

Christchurch in April

We're off to ChCh aain this weekend for more clinics, don't know about the weather though. Its snowing down there! This is what it looked like last time we were down there!

We'll put some pics up if its not a white out when we get back. Amy Laird will be back from an awesome trip of racing in the States so we might even have a repeat of the red stubbies!!!
